REM Co., Ltd. is a new company that was established in July 2020.

Businesses engaged in the purchase and export of second-hand farming equipment have been operating in Japan for decades but in recent years such companies have entered into a period of rapid change affected by globalization and the spread of the Internet.
The second-hand farming equipment industry, until now largely a relatively niche market, has been growing year by year domestically in Japan in terms of both buyers and sellers. This market growth is not limited to Japan, as overseas demand has also increased. As a result, the number of exporters has also been growing, with second-hand machines made in Japan delivered to farmers all over the world and thus contributing to agricultural development. The number of second-hand tractors exported has now reached approximately 50,000 machines per year.
Here at REM, we want to make the most of these changing times by seeking out businesses and services useful to our customers, and so we have launched the first cross-border EC website in Japan that specializes in second-hand farming equipment. On this website, we will be operating services that provide useful information to our customers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

To facilitate this development, we have gathered a group of experienced industry professionals, including those from outside Japan.
Our aim is to prepare a comprehensive logistics infrastructure that suits the second-hand farming equipment industry right now, providing all our customers with more effective and more convenient services.
Our pledge is to strive every day to become a company that, in cooperation with our many customers, will help shape this new era.
